At Kawakawa Environmental, we endeavour to restore and create self-sustaining, resilient native ecosystems with the use of professional and innovative ecological restoration techniques.
Our Approach
Kawakawa Environmental takes a coordinated and targeted approach toward a wide range of ecological restoration projects. We provide a service that encompasses all aspects of ecological restoration, from initial planning and consultation to ongoing maintenance and monitoring of established sites.
Given the significance of indigenous species in New Zealand and in the face of current habitat degradation and biodiversity decline, we aim to create self-sustaining, resilient native ecosystems that enhance biodiversity, improve water quality and uphold cultural values for future generations.
Kawakawa Environmental is based on the Kapiti Coast and provides services throughout the wider lower to central North Island regions. However, location is not a limiting factor for larger projects, Kawakawa Environmental can supply restoration services across New Zealand.
Kawakawa Environmental completes projects for government organisations, trusts and private landowners.
