Florence is dedicated to protecting New Zealand’s unique environment, and is passionate about everything plant related. She completed a Bachelor of Science majoring in Ecology and Botany in 2022 at the University of Otago. She has plant identification skills and experience in environmental monitoring. She enjoys working in the outdoors, and in her free time tramps throughout New Zealand’s forests. 

Florence has previously worked in horticulture, particularly in nursery work and seed testing. She is keen to further her skills in ecological restoration through working with Kawakawa Environmental.
